Naples BoardRoom magazine and the Association of Private Clubs and Directors announced that Grey Oaks Country Club has been awarded Distinguished Club Awards in five categories. According to the Association of Private Clubs & Directors, recipients of the Distinguished Club Awards are representative of “private country clubs that stand out and deliver a phenomenal product to their members and guests.”

Grey Oaks Country Club received Distinguished Club Awards in the following categories:

In addition to the Distinguished Club Awards, Grey Oaks Country Club has been recognized as one of America’s top 100 golf communities by Travel & Leisure Golf for the third consecutive year and as one of the top 35 residential country club communities in the United States by the Platinum Club of America. Platinum Clubs represent the top 4% of America’s 5,000 private clubs. The recognition is similar to the esteemed Mobil Five Star rating of hotels and resorts.

Located just off Airport Pulling Road north of Golden Gate Parkway, Grey Oaks Country Club is one of the premier private family country clubs in Naples. Over 150 children who are 18 years old or younger currently participate in membership activities at Grey Oaks, in addition to the many grandchildren of members. Members and their families enjoy the comfort and convenience of two impeccably appointed clubhouses totaling over 80,000 square feet complete with over 5,500 square feet of fitness facilities, a nationally recognized tennis program, and a full calendar of social events.

At the over 1,000-acre Grey Oaks community includes The Estuary at Grey Oaks. While property owners are not currently required to join the Club, approximately 90% of them choose to do so. In addition, over 35% of members are non-residents from well known Naples neighborhoods, including Port Royal, Olde Naples and many of the condominiums in the Gulf Shore Boulevard area. Grey Oaks Country Club is debt-free. During season, the Club employs approximately 250 people.

GREY OAKS OFFERS THE TRIPLE CROWN OF GOLF

Offering three distinctly different golf courses just minutes from Naples’ downtown district and popular Gulf Coast beaches, Grey Oaks is known for providing an unforgettable golf experience.

Designed by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton, the Pine Course has been named one of the “Top 50 Most Distinctive Courses in the Southeast” by Golfweek Magazine and winner of the “Best of the Gulf Shore Golf Course” from Gulfshore Life Magazine. The 7,206-yard course features rolling berms, pine and cedar hammocks and dramatic elevation changes that blend naturally with the surrounding preserves and lakes.

A tiered rock waterfall, bulk-headed island greens, meandering lagoons and white sand beaches give the 6,864-yard Palm Course a dramatic tropical look. Designed by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton, the course is planted with over 3,500 coconut palms. Challenging greens and spacious fairways combine to give this course its distinctive character.

The Estuary at Grey Oaks Golf Course is the final jewel in Grey Oaks’ triple crown of championship golf. Designed by Bob Cupp, the 6,859 yard course offers a combination of challenging golf, pristine conditions and nature at its best. Diverse fairway widths, the varied sizes of the Tif-Eagle greens and creative bunker design are among the characteristics of this inspirational course. With five par threes and five par fives, the course is appreciated by all levels of golfers. The Estuary at Grey Oaks Golf Course was named 2005 Florida Course of the Year by the National Golf Course Owners Association.
